About Koollia Wigs

Below are some common questions about our products

What base wigs do you use?

We have our own wig production factory, all the raw materials for wigs are high temperature silk of superior quality, whether it is all the basic wigs we sell or commission wigs (we often use all-purpose wigs), all are guaranteed in quality.

What is the price range for a wig?

Basic wig(unstyle) : $20-80. You can style or DIY it after you receive the product.
Styling Basic wig: between 130-450 dollars. (Ideal for clients who can't style and have a limited budget without too much customization.)
Commission wig: between 300-3000 USD. Commission wigs can be customized to meet special needs: length, size, anti-gravity, color spray, custom hairline, ponytail, OC, etc.

Why is Commission Wig so expensive? The pricing includes the cost of materials, labor, pay for a team of people helping in the creation of the wigs, years of experience etc.

Do I order the commission wig materials?

None! Our prices include wig materials, tools, packing materials, and shipping costs for custom wigs. We will communicate with you about the specific color material and other details of the wig before making your order, and when you are sure, we will make it with the materials you approve.

What if I can’t afford the commission wig?

We offer flexible payment plans that spread out over time! Typically, every 2-3 weeks, a payment will be expected.

Our sales representatives will communicate specific installment payment details before you place your order.The final payment must usually be completed before shipment.

Will the wig fit my head?

The basic wig is adjustable in size and it usually fits most people's head circumference.

When placing an order for a commission wig, we ask for your specific head measurements to ensure that the look is proportionate to your face and head!

How I care for and store my commission wig?

Make sure your hair and wig cap are clean before you put the wig on.
For intricately styled wigs, think of them as works of art on your head; if you submerge your wig in water, it will be completely ruined. That's why washing is not recommended; to keep your wig hygienic, spray the inside of your wig with sterilizing alcohol or Lysol! Also, make sure your hair and wig cap are clean before you put the wig on!
You can use a head mold to keep the wig styled, in addition please use a dust cover or the cake box we deliver to keep it dust free. When the wig has been used 1-2 times, it will have some frizz around the edges, handmade products this is normal, you can use simple wig tools (such as fermentation) to tidy up the surface of the wig so that it can be used many times.

Will the basic wig I receive look exactly like the pictures on your website? Is it pre-styled?

Our basic wigs are strictly "unstyled" (like a blank canvas). Because they haven't been professionally shaped, they will look different straight out of the package compared to the fully styled photos on our website. You will need to trim and style it yourself before wearing. If you prefer a "ready-to-wear" look that perfectly matches the display pictures right out of the box, we highly recommend choosing our Pre-styled or Premium Custom wigs.


How do I choose the right wig size and head circumference?
  • Standard Sizing (Basic & Pre-styled): Designed to fit most people comfortably, these wigs feature an adjustable inner cap that accommodates head circumferences between 21 and 23 inches.
  • Custom Sizing (Premium Custom): If you have specific sizing needs (e.g., a larger head size, taller body proportions, or simply want a flawless fit), our custom wig service includes tailor-made sizing. We will craft the wig based on your exact head measurements to ensure the ultimate cosplay experience.
Can I heat-style or dye the basic wigs? What is the maximum temperature they can handle?

Yes! All Koollia wigs are made from premium high-temperature synthetic fibers, which are heat-resistant up to 180°C (350°F). You can safely use curling irons, flat irons, and other heat tools to set your style. They can also be dyed to suit your creative needs.

I don't know how to style wigs. Can Koollia style it for me?

Absolutely! Koollia offers a wide variety of options, and we have an in-house team of professional wig stylists ready to help. If you prefer not to style it yourself, simply purchase a Pre-styled wig or reach out to our customer service for a Premium Custom order. We’ll do all the styling for you so it arrives ready to wear.

Does Koollia provide wig styling tutorials?

We sure do. With years of experience deeply rooted in the ACG (Anime, Comic, and Games) and cosplay community, Koollia has built a vast library of resources. We offer plenty of video tutorials, step-by-step guides, and blog posts to help both beginners and advanced cosplayers level up their styling skills anytime.

How do I place a custom wig order?

Emailsupport@koollia.comwith the following: character name + high-quality reference photos (front, side, back), detailed requirements (hair length, ahoge, gradient colors, anti-gravity styling, etc.), expected delivery date, your country, and budget range. They'll evaluate and send a quote. Once confirmed, pay a deposit to start.

How far in advance should I contact you? 2–3 months ahead. 

Production takes 1–3 months, plus 15–30 days for international shipping. If you have a convention deadline, leave plenty of buffer.

Can I see progress during production?

Yes. For complex styles (anti-gravity, skeletons, airbrushing, spliced colors), you'll receive photos or videos every 1–2 days showing the semi-finished product so you can confirm it meets your expectations.

Shipping & Returns

When will my order arrive?

This depends on the products ordered and where we are shipping to, however, most orders are delivered with 7-15 business days. This can be 2-3+ weeks. If you're ever concerned about your order, feel free to e-mail us.
*Custom items order, please confirm with customer service the production cycle and shipping time

What if the commission wig doesn’t fit?

We will strictly follow the size you provide (please provide the size as prepared as possible according to customer service requirements).

If the finished size is fine, but it still doesn't fit you. We can show you how to fix the problem, or you can pay to have the wig shipped back for alterations if the problem is out of your comfort zone. We will not charge you for altering the wig, but you will need to pay for shipping both ways.

Is my commission wig insured?

Proper care is essential for these wigs. Although designed for durability, they can be damaged by mishandling or misuse. No returns will be issued for such damage occurring more than 48 hours after delivery.

If the wig arrives damaged, We can walk you through repairing it, or you can ship it back, and we will repair it.

My shipment has been delayed, can I have a refund? 

Commission wigs have a long production cycle, so please check with the customer service representative when you place your order to confirm the expected time of receipt, but we do not offer refunds for delayed shipments.

If you have special needs, we offer expedited order service, but you will need to pay an additional expediting fee.

What payment methods do you accept? 

We offer secure shopping and accept payments via PayPal and all major credit and debit card companies.

Why did I receive a text message about pending charges from my order?

If you received a charge notification via text message marked "Pending," it may be because your card's issuing bank is processing the transaction. Please contact your bank for exact details regarding your transaction. Thank you for your cooperation.

Is it possible to cancel or adjust my order after placing it?

Unfortunately, please note that we are only able to make changes to your order if it has not been fulfilled yet. If you want to change anything in your order, please contact us via email at support@koollia.com within 24 hours after placing your order. If the order has been shipped, we can no longer make modifications to your order.

Please note that the commission wig deposit will not be refunded if you cancel your order.

I gave you the wrong address, what can i do?

Unfortunately, please note that we are only able to make changes to your order if it has not been fulfilled yet. Please email us at support@koollia.com explaining your situation and if we haven't shipped your order yet we can make the change.

Once the order is shipped, we will not be able to modify the address, you can try to contact the logistics company to modify your delivery address before delivery.

Please note: due to the customer's address error causes the second delivery costs incurred by the customer needs to be borne by the customer (please check your address when placing an order)
Commission wigs order cannot use Post Office Box address.
