Choosing a Nezuko Wig Color Option
Nezuko’s demon-form hair is usually shown as dark brown or black with flame-orange ends. The exact shade and position of the gradient may look different depending on the anime scene, official artwork, lighting and screen settings.
This product is available in three options: Type 1 Gradient Color, Type 2 Gradient Color and Type 3 Dyed Color. Compare the product photos for each option with the Nezuko reference you plan to recreate before making your selection. Actual colors may appear slightly different under different lighting or display settings.
An Unstyled Base for Nezuko’s Hairstyle
This Nezuko cosplay wig is supplied as an unstyled base rather than a finished, ready-to-wear hairstyle. The long synthetic fibers give you room to adjust the side part, shape the face-framing sections and create the large waves seen in Nezuko’s demon appearance.
The black-to-orange transition is already included, so you can focus on refining the silhouette and texture. Avoid cutting too much hair at once. Try on the wig during the styling process and make small adjustments until the length and front sections suit your face and costume.
How to Style the Nezuko Wig
- Place the wig securely on a mannequin head and gently remove any tangles, starting at the ends.
- Use the existing part as a starting point for Nezuko’s deep side-parted hairstyle.
- Separate a few narrow face-framing sections and trim them gradually.
- Divide the lower lengths into wide sections and form large waves with rollers or a suitable low-temperature styling tool.
- Allow the fibers to cool completely before separating and arranging the waves.
- Position the orange ends so the gradient remains visible from the front, sides and back.
- Use a small amount of wig-safe hairspray to hold the finished shape.
Always confirm that your styling tool is suitable for synthetic wigs. Begin with a low temperature and test it on a small, hidden section before applying heat to visible fibers.

Customer Reviews
FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
What base wigs do you use?
We have our own wig production factory, all the wig raw materials are superior quality 100% high temperature fiber, whether we sell all the basic wigs, or commissioned wigs (we often use all-purpose wigs), the quality is guaranteed.
Will the basic wig I receive look exactly like the pictures on your website? Is it pre-styled?
Our basic wigs are strictly "unstyled" (like a blank canvas). Because they haven't been professionally shaped, they will look different straight out of the package compared to the fully styled photos on our website. You will need to trim and style it yourself before wearing. If you prefer a "ready-to-wear" look that perfectly matches the display pictures right out of the box, we highly recommend choosing our Pre-styled or Premium Custom wigs.
What’s the difference between Basic, Pre-styled, and Premium Custom wigs? Which one should I choose?
To meet the needs of all cosplayers, we offer three tiers of service:
- Basic Wigs (Unstyled): These are blank-canvas wigs that require cutting, trimming, and styling upon arrival. They are perfect for DIYers who enjoy crafting their own looks.
- Pre-styled Wigs: Our professional stylists take the basic wig and do the heavy lifting—cutting, styling, and curling it to highly replicate the character's look. Some characters even offer multiple style options (insert link to Mitsuri's styles here). These are shipped in exclusive custom cake boxes and are ready to wear with just a minor touch-up.
- Premium Custom Wigs: This is our highest tier of personalized service. You have full control over the color, length, and specific styling. This option involves complex, advanced techniques (like airbrushing, color splicing, hand-tied hairlines, and anti-gravity structural bases). The result is a highly accurate, unique masterpiece that is 100% ready to wear straight out of the box.
Why is there such a big price difference for character wigs (ranging from $50 for a Basic to $700+ for a Premium Custom)?
The price difference ultimately comes down to labor, time, and craftsmanship complexity. Our services range from Basic to Custom: Basic wigs usually cost around $50 because you are primarily paying for the raw materials. In contrast, our Premium Custom wigs account for hours of intensive manual labor by professional wig stylists, highly complex styling techniques, and an exclusively personalized service, making them higher-priced but truly one-of-a-kind.
How do I choose the right wig size and head circumference?
- Standard Sizing (Basic & Pre-styled): Designed to fit most people comfortably, these wigs feature an adjustable inner cap that accommodates head circumferences between 21 and 23 inches.
- Custom Sizing (Premium Custom): If you have specific sizing needs (e.g., a larger head size, taller body proportions, or simply want a flawless fit), our custom wig service includes tailor-made sizing. We will craft the wig based on your exact head measurements to ensure the ultimate cosplay experience.
Can I heat-style or dye the basic wigs? What is the maximum temperature they can handle?
Yes! All Koollia wigs are made from premium high-temperature synthetic fibers, which are heat-resistant up to 180°C (350°F). You can safely use curling irons, flat irons, and other heat tools to set your style. They can also be dyed to suit your creative needs.
I don't know how to style wigs. Can Koollia style it for me?

If you prefer not to style it yourself, simply purchase a Pre-styled wig or reach out to our customer service for a Premium Custom order. We’ll do all the styling for you so it arrives ready to wear.

Suitable for characters with special and large curls, ponytails, etc. This technique involves shaping iron wires into a concrete frame, using tapes, lace, cotton, or light dry clay as a base, and then covering it with multiple hair pieces. The result is a more cartoonish and three-dimensional effect.

The hairline is crafted from multiple hair pieces. Depending on the specific style and length required, the designer will take 1-2 days to complete it. The final hairline will be natural, attractive, and consistent with the character.

Ideal for characters with ahoge, ponytails, ear-like, or bun-like hairstyles. This technique typically uses magnetic buckles, snaps, etc., to create the connection points. The materials used depend on the weight and volume of the style. The detachable design makes the wig easy to carry and ship.
